Megan and Brian’s Balboa Yacht Club Wedding Newport Beach, CA
Megan and Brian are just too cute for words. Their wedding day, which was beautiful, started with getting ready photos at the Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach, CA. Megan’s makeup was done by Devon Baker. She looked amazing; they always do really great work. Meghan Sedillos did her hair, which was intricately braided and curled, very bohemian chic. The floral arrangements and bouquets from Couture Flowers by Kimberly Perry were a delicate mix of pink flowers, accenting their wedding color of soft pink. They looked amazing. Megan looked stunning in her wedding dress, which was complimented by Cinderella-esque Jimmy Choo stilettos. She was such a beautiful bride!
After getting ready at the Balboa Bay Resort, the wedding party headed over to Our Lady of Mount Carmel on the Balboa Peninsula to prepare for Megan and Brian’s ceremony. Brian’s first time to see Megan as his bride was when she was escorted down the aisle on her father’s arm. His expression was precious. They had a traditional Catholic ceremony where they exchanged sweet vows and their first kiss as Mr. & Mrs.
Following the ceremony the wedding party boarded a 1954 Chris Craft called “No Corkage” and took the opportunity to relax on the water before the party really started. They made their way over to the reception location, which was the Balboa Yacht Club. We love weddings there! The location is great, right on the water, and everyone always has a great time. The live reception music was by Soulville Band. Megan and Brian, and their guests, were dancing the entire time and the band never missed a beat. To our surprise we got to taste some of the wedding cake. It’s not often that we get to eat the dessert, and can I just say… the cake was devilishly good; Sweet Lydia’s of San Diego was totally on point. The evening went off without a hitch – thanks to some awesome event coordination by Vinscena Kostka of Intertwined Events. All we can say is, what a great way to kick off this new chapter in their lives!
