Tell us about your first date
We had our first date in March 2013 at Corona Del Mar beach. The sun was about to set as we walked along the sand towards Pirates Cove. Ironically as we approached Pirates Cove written in the sand with big writing wrote “Marry Me?” It broke the ice a little bit as we laughed if off knowing neither of us wrote it. (Later on, this exact location is where Ryan proposed). For the rest of the night we walked back along the beach and continued to get to know each other and open up about ourselves. It was the first time we ever prayed together in person, which made the night more personal and a start to something amazing.

What do you like to do for fun?
Some activities we both enjoy doing include: line dancing; riding bikes to the beach; cooking; rock climbing; attending the magic castle; spontaneous car rides; and playing card games.
What is your favorite date you have had together?
Ryan surprised me at my work on a Friday night and bought us two front row seats to see Wicked the musical. He went to Trader Joes to buy our dinner which we quickly ate in the car before the show started. The reason why this date was our favorite is because none of it was planned and we enjoyed the adventure.
