Orange County LDS Wedding | Newport Beach Temple | Wedding Photography

What a gorgeous couple, huh? We first met Megan when we photographed her sisters wedding at the LA Temple. We knew we were in for a fun day with lots of little ones running around! We love shooting at the Newport Beach Temple. The architectural details of this temple remind us of the missions throught California. There are so many different places and beautiful spots to shoot on the temple grounds. We have so many options that it makes for a complete shoot!

From the bride:

“We first met Jen & Brian at my sister’s wedding in LA. The bride had the flu the day of her wedding, yet when we look back on the photos, you can’t even tell she was sick! Major props to Jen + Brian. We loved them so much, we asked them to shoot our wedding the following year. Jen + Brian are so fabulous. Incredibly quick, professional, and efficient. They had the digitals mailed to us on a usb that arrived on our “one month” anniversary and at our 1 year anniversary this year they sent us a beautiful framed wedding photo. Such a fun surprise! Editing was top notch and we loved the variety of shots and poses. We will def utilize them in the future for baby photos and refer them to all our California friends!! They are absolutely worth every penny and to this day, we love to look back on our wedding photos.”

  • How did you meet?
Brian and I met our junior year of high school! He was the beautiful new kid in our seminary class and had all the confidence in the world. We became good friends over the next few years, but I swore we were just friends. We weaved in and out of each others lives throughout the following years, but always remained close friends. During my last semester of college (his second-to-last) we began spending more time together and decided we would give “dating” a chance. Brian moved to Paris for the summer, I moved to Washington DC, and we both realized how much we meant to one another. Four months later he got down on one knee and asked me to be his bride.
  • I knew I would marry Brian Williams, I just had zero idea it would happen so quickly. Brian was leaving to Peru for a month and we had planned to carry out our gift exchange the Friday before he left since we would be apart for Christmas. Throughout the day, Brian had a series of gifts and handwritten letters secretly delivered to my desk at work. Every hour or so I received a handwritten letter and a sentimental something that represented our relationship. The last delivery was a bouquet of monochromatic white flowers with instructions for the next surprise. I arrived home, went up to my room, and there Brian was, dressed to the 9’s, and my entire room dazzled with candles, string lights, and rose petals. Now anyone who knows me knows that my cat, Falcon, has the remaining part of my heart that Brian does not. Knowing this, Brian had Falcon dressed in a cat bridal gown and a handmade veil. Engraved on Falcon’s collar was a double sided inscription. One side read a french saying that we’ve always said to each other “Toi et moi, pour toujours” (you & me for forever). And the other side read, “Will you meowwwy me?” Et voila, he got on one knee and asked me to be his pour toujours.

Megan’s dress was a white cap sleeve dress made by Aria with a boat neck collar, box pleats and a wide waste band. Her bridesmaids each wore a white dress of their choosing. They all looked great! The groom wore a traditional tuxedo with a vest and the groomsmen wore black pants, white shirts and black bow ties.
