What a beautiful day for a wedding! Scott and Sarah were married at the Newport Beach LDS Temple.
We met up with the bride that morning at M the Salon in Newport Beach. Afterwards we went over to the stake center near the temple for the first look! We wandered around the grounds getting some photos of the two of them alone and then went inside to witness their sealing.
The bride wore an elegant ivory cap sleeve lace dress with satin covered buttons all the way up the back. Her blonde hair was pulled back at the sides into a low chignon with her tulle veil on top. She carried a hand tied bouquet (by Sparks In Bloom) with multiple shades of pink peonies, bright fuchsia anemones with soft touches of bright green viburnum and fern- finished off with an ivory satin ribbon around the base. Her bridesmaids wore bright pink dresses in different designs that fit each body type perfectly. They carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet and they each looked beautiful.
After the ceremony, we took a few group photos outside and then found a park to do the bridal party and family photos! We love the park photos and how lush and green the grounds were behind the wedding party and bride and groom. It was a perfect backdrop for the bright colors the bride and groom had chosen.
The reception was at the Newland House and Barn in Huntington Beach. It is a really darling location. The open lawn area was perfect for the reception dinner and it’s long rows of tables with their black and white striped table runners. This was a fun change from the typical wedding with round tables. String lights were draped above the guests and they illuminated the evening as they dined and visited with one another.
