Newport Beach wedding – Hyatt Regency
Scott & Shelly had such a great Newport Beach wedding! The day was perfect and everything fell into place- thanks to Jenna from Engaged Events! We always love to shoot at the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach. The grounds are huge and you can always find great lighting for photos. Suzie from Flawless Faces did an amazing job and had the girls ready on time. Paradise Delight made some incredible bouquets and floral arrangements at the reception! Everyone kept commenting on how bright the flowers looked against the black and white theme. Overall- everyone did an amazing job and we have photos to prove it! Congrats S + S!
Getting Married at the Hyatt Regency – Newport Beach
The Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach has a few options for wedding ceremony and reception locations. This wedding ceremony was in the Back Bay Amphitheater and the reception was in the Oasis Courtyard.
Your guest list size will help you determine which location(s) you’ll choose for your wedding ceremony and reception. Larger wedding ceremonies are at the Back Bay Amphitheater- which is outdoor and can handle up to 1000 guests. The Oasis Courtyard is right next to the pool area and is large enough to have an outdoor ceremony or reception. If you choose the Oasis Courtyard for your ceremony, then you would most likely have your reception at the Terrace Ballroom, which is a large circular room, only steps away. The Plaza Arbor and Plaza Ballroom can handle up to 450 guests. The Garden Patio and Garden Room are great for weddings with 100 guests or less.
The great thing about the Newport Hyatt is their ability to mix and match these areas to suit your needs! We always tell our brides to take a tour of this resort. It is massive (26 acres) and once you are there, you won’t need to leave until the day after your wedding!
