Newport Beach Military Wedding – Hyatt Regency
This was our first Newport Beach Military Wedding! Nicolette and James were referred to us by the amazing wedding coordinators at the Hyatt Regency Resort in Newport Beach 🙂 It’s always a pleasure to photograph events at this resort. N + J were so cute together. One of my favorite photos was James seeing his bride for the first time and the tear rolling down his cheek. Nicolette looked stunning in her wedding dress (we think she needs to model this dress for a magazine) We had so much fun getting to know the families on their big day.
Ceremony Locations at the Newport Beach Hyatt
The Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach has a few options for wedding ceremony and reception locations. This was the first time we photographed a ceremony and reception in The Garden Patio and Garden Room. These areas are great for weddings with 100 guests or less.
Your guest list size will help you determine which location(s) you’ll choose for your wedding ceremony and reception. Larger wedding ceremonies are at the Back Bay Amphitheater- which is outdoor and can handle up to 1000 guests. The Oasis Courtyard is right next to the pool area and is large enough to have an outdoor ceremony or reception. If you choose the Oasis Courtyard for your ceremony, then you would most likely have your reception at the Terrace Ballroom, which is a large circular room, only steps away. The Plaza Arbor and Plaza Ballroom can handle up to 450 guests.
The great thing about the Newport Hyatt is their ability to mix and match these areas to suit your needs! We always tell our brides to take a tour of this resort. It is massive (26 acres) and once you are there, you won’t need to leave until the day after your wedding!
